Pursuant to T.C.A. Section67-5-2507(a)(6), the high bid for each parcel will be left open for a period of ten (10) days after the date of sale. If anyone, during such ten (10) days, appears at the Claiborne County Mayor’s Office and increases the bid in writing by a minimum of ten (10%) percent, the property will be advertised for a second public auction at the Claiborne County Courthouse. In the event such bid is raised, then the second public auction at the Claiborne County Courthouse will begin with the last raised bid price. If the bid is not raised within ten (10) days, then the highest bid at the first auction will be deemed the final bid.
